Angel Encounter « Thread Started on Dec 4, 2004, 9:02pm »
It was in 1996 and my wife was dying of cancer of the brain. It was about 3:00 am and I was in the waiting room trying to catch a little sleep. The room was dark, however, there was some lighting in the hallway. I was in the back of the room on a recliner. Just inside the door was some chairs. I had been dozing off and on for a few minutes when something got my attention. I heard a woman softly crying. I looked up and there was a women sitting in the chair closest to the door. She was dressed in all white. She had shoulder length brown hair. I couldn't see her face because she had a white handkerchief covering her face. What got my attention to most was the color of the white clothes she was wearing. I have never seen white this bright before. It was though they were glowing. I thought to myself that she must have lost someone. I then closed my eyes for a few seconds. She was still there crying. I watched her again for a couple minutes. Then I closed my eyes for no more than 5 seconds and when I looked up again she was gone. I thought this was strange for she made to noise at all. I asked the nursing night shift an hour later if anyone had seen this woman. The answer was no. (The waiting room was right beside the nurses station). I also asked if anyone had passed away. Again the answer was no. This weighed heavy on my mind so I asked my minister his opinion on this. His reply was that he thought it was my wife's guardian angel and she was crying because she had lost my wife. I agreed with him totally. To this day I feel that God sent me an angel to help comfort me from the loss of my wife. I am also convinced that my wife had died about an hour before this happened even though she was not officially declared dead until the next day when they removed the ventilator.
